ESDN for Oncology Committee

A dietitian registered both in Italy and the UK. She works at Oxford Brookes University and she is specialised in oncology nutrition. On this topic, she is currently doing a PhD in collaboration with Oxford University NHS Foundation Trust. She is involved in research and patient support groups, and believes in the value of collaboration among colleagues. She is committed to creating interesting and productive international exchanges.

Dietitian at Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Friuli Centrale. She is a member of ASAND Working Group “Diabetes” and, before, of the National Association Dietitian (ANDID) Diabetes Group. She is co-author of scientific publications and of ANDID Handbook ‘Carbohydrates, blood sugar, insulin and good nutrition: let’s count the carbs’.

She has a Master of Science in Artificial Nutrition, and a PhD in Metabolic and Vascular Diseases, she carries out clinical work in the management of Artificial Nutrition with a focus on the hospital-community link. She participates in nutrition education projects for schools and communities. She carries out clinical research.

Certified Sport nutrition dietitian with a post-doc research fellowship at the Human Nutrition, Food Education and Sport Nutrition Laboratory of the University of Pavia. She works in the sport nutrition field both in clinical practice and in research projects, with some publications and collaboration with international experts. She teaches sport nutrition bases and counselling techniques to the dietitians attending the post-graduate master’s program in “Nutritional Counselling for Lifestyle modification: from sedentary to sportive”.

Researcher and lecturer at the Dietetics Bachelor Degree and Head of the Food Education and Sports Nutrition Laboratory, Department of Public Health, Experimental and Forensic Medicine, University of Pavia. Coordinator of the Master’s Degree Course for Dietitians “Nutritional Counseling for Lifestyle Modification: from sedentary to sportive”. President of the Dietitian Register Commission and member of the Board of Directors of the TSRM-PSTRP Pavia Register.

Reference dietitian at the Clinical Nutrition Service and the Obesity Unit of the Koelliker Hospital in Turin. Consultant Dietitian at Bariatric Surgery Centres. She manages the nutritional therapy of adult patients living with obesity, with or without medications and/or undergoing bariatric surgery.
